For this assignment, you are to prepare for and present legislation for student congress. Requirements:
1.Each individual will be responsible for preparing evidence against the legislation that we receive. We should get two main batches of legislation and each will be divided evenly. Students will be given several tasks that deal with gathering articles on each of their assigned pieces of legislation. The information gathered should be divided into evidence that supports the legislation and evidence that goes against the legislation. Students need to get at least 10 articles per piece of legislation, with 5 pro and 5 con. Use legit sources – proquest, etc. Check with advanced. (25 points)
2.Each individual will be responsible for preparing a bill for consideration at student congress following the notes discussed in class. (15 points)
3.Each individual will be responsible for preparing a resolution for consideration at student congress following the notes discussed in class. (15 points)
4.Each individual will be required to give an authorship speech and/or other speeches during student congress drills held in class time. (10 points)
5.Each individual will be required to demonstrate an adequate knowledge of student congress parliamentary procedure (10 points)

1. copy and paste it into word
2. use 10 font and .5 margins
3. make a header which indicates the bill/resolution number and title
4. indicate if the article is pro or con
5. insert page numbers on the bottom of the page
