Advanced debaters are required to attend 10 practice sessions after school, lasting about 2 hours each.  Tournament practices will be held on each Monday and Thursday, from 3:30 to 5:30, unless there is a conflict.  There may be additional opportunities to get credit for practice sessions. 

Each practice is worth 10 points, for a total of 100 points or 10% of the student's grade. 

Practice points will be noted on an attendance chart posted in the debate room.  Attendance points will be added monthly to the student's power school grade.  Zeroes will not be assigned for practice grades until the end of the semester, since the student has the option to choose which practices to attend.
