You are assigned to update disadvantages, counterplans, and kritiqs.

For disadvantages:
Include a detailed explanation of the disadvantage and how it works.
Create a 1NC shell.
Links: find the best general links from the different camp files, add specific links to the cases that you have heard throughout the year.
Uniqueness: find the most recent uniqueness that you can. It would be best to have this from the week of districts. If you cannot find something this recent, it should be post September. If you cannot find that, let me know.
Impact: get the best impact scenarios.
If there are different scenarios for the disadvantage (like spending, immigration, and politics), make sure you cover all of them.
For counterplans:
Include a detailed explanation of the counterplan and how it works.
Create a 1NC shell.
Give suggestions for possible cases to use the counterplan against.
Have good general solvency for the counterplan.
Find good solvency for the counterplan as it relates to specific cases.
Mention and put together possible net benefits to go with the counterplan.
Explain competitiveness, stance towards topicality, and the status of the counterplan.
For kritiks:
Include a detailed explanation of the kritik and how it works.
Create a 1NC shell.
Give suggestions for possible cases to use the kritik against.
Have general and specific links to the kritik (explain them).
Have a clear impact with the kritik.
Have a clear alternative to present (and explain it).
Each position is worth 60 points.
For all of the files you need to include:
Index (have page numbers)
On a separate page, indicate which briefs from planet debate or other sources you used.
There should be some completely new research that you do for these briefs. Make me a copy of the articles that you use that are new.
Remember to make headers, like the one below, for your briefs. (you may have to change the size of the screen for it to look like it should for your briefs).
